Wilder-Fury Rematch Fight Prediction

We have had the biggest fights like the one of Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis in 2002, and now the much-anticipated rematch between Wilder and Fury is just around the corner.

The rematch termed as Wilder vs. Fury 2 is will be staged at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas on Saturday, 22nd February 2020.

Who do you think will win this time? After the first match ended in a split-decision draw on December 2018? Why don’t you answer this question by watching Wilder-Fury 2 live stream?

Here are each boxer’s statistics.

Wilder

  • Fights – 43
  • Wins – 42
  • KO’s – 41
  • Losses – 0
  • Draws – 1

Fury

  • Fights – 30
  • Win – 29
  • KO’s – 20
  • Losses – 0
  • Draws – 1

Wilder has fought many fights more than Fury and with a lot of wins by knockout. But that doesn’t guarantee that he will win the rematch. We saw him flooring Fury twice in the first match and I bet this time he will come fully prepared to finish this bout. In November 2019, Wilder beat Ortiz via a knockout to defend his WBC title.

On the other hand, Fury recently beat Wallin via unanimous decision in September 2019. We saw him putting on some pressure on the tired-looking Wilder, and he was able to come up after being floored down twice.

What are the champions of boxing saying?

The most recent boxing champion is Antony Joshua who beat Andy Ruiz Jr. during the rematch in December 2019 to reclaim his lost titles.

Here is what Joshua said about his prediction where he supports Fury.

“The reason why I thought about it and why it came to fruition for me is because I feel like if Fury was to win that fight [against Wilder] I think he’d be more inclined to fight me next and quicker than Wilder would.”

Conclusion

Here is what both fighters had to say about the rematch and what to expect.

Wilder remarks:

“I’m not going to have no sympathy for him (Fury) – I’m gonna really want to hurt him.”

Fury remarks: “The better the opponent, the better Tyson Fury rises to the task -I’m the greatest fighter that’s ever lived.”
